Film/TV/Book Reviews

As an entertainment columnist, one of the responsibilities I have outside of my music columns is doing film and TV show reviews. I’ll link them here for your viewing pleasure!

I was asked to do reviews toward the end of the third season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” I had the pleasure of covering the last three episodes, right at the height of the season. There are some spoilers, so if you haven’t seen them be wary!

• Here’s the review on episode eight, entitled “Second Sons.”

• The review on the plot-changing episode nine, “The Rains of Castamere,” which included the “Red Wedding” scene from George R.R. Martin‘s novel, “A Storm of Swords.”
• And here’s the review on the season finale, titled “Mhysa.”

I also did a review of “The Companions,” a novel written by my favorite author, R.A. Salvatore. I had the rare opportunity and privilege to interview Salvatore, and included his interview in my review of his book.
